Fried Noodles

A quick, satisfying noodle dish that can be customised with any protein and vegetables.

Prep: 5 minutes. Cook: 10 minutes. Difficulty: Easy. Serves 4.

Ingredients

  • 400g egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Protein of choice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package. Drain.
  2. Heat oil in a wok over high heat.
  3. Add garlic and protein (if using). Cook 3 minutes.
  4. Add vegetables. Stir-fry 2 minutes.
  5. Add noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  6. Toss everything together for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.

  • Toss quickly to prevent sticking.
