Garlic Bread
Crispy on the outside, buttery and garlicky on the inside. The ultimate side dish.
Prep: 5 minutes. Cook: 10 minutes. Difficulty: Easy. Serves 4.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette or Italian bread
- 80g butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the garlic butter generously on both halves.
- Place on a baking tray. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Tips for Helpers
- Use softened butter so it spreads easily and mixes well with garlic.
- For cheesy garlic bread, add grated mozzarella on top before baking.
- Watch it closely — it goes from perfect to burnt quickly.
