Teriyaki Chicken
Sweet, savoury glazed chicken that children and adults love. Simple homemade teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs (boneless)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
- Sesame seeds and spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken thighs. Cook 5 minutes per side until golden.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
- Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
- Add cornstarch mixture. Stir until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.
