Quesadillas
Crispy tortillas filled with melted cheese and your choice of fillings. Ready in minutes.

Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas
- 200g cheese, grated
- Optional fillings: cooked chicken, beans, peppers, sweetcorn, jalapeños
- Sour cream and salsa for serving
Instructions
- Place a tortilla flat in a dry pan over medium heat.
- Sprinkle cheese over half the tortilla. Add fillings on top of the cheese.
- Fold the tortilla in half.
- Cook for 2 minutes until golden underneath.
- Flip carefully. Cook the other side for 2 minutes.
- Cut into wedges. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
Tips for Helpers
- Medium heat — too high and the outside burns before the cheese melts.
- Do not overfill or the tortilla will not fold.
- Press down gently with a spatula while cooking.
Ingredient Substitutions
- Use corn tortillas for a different texture.
- Any melting cheese works.
