Chicken Wraps

Warm tortillas filled with grilled chicken, fresh vegetables, and your favourite sauce. Quick, healthy, and satisfying.

Prep: 10 minutes. Cook: 10 minutes. Difficulty: Easy. Serves 4.

Ingredients

  • 400g chicken breast, sliced
  • 4 large tortilla wraps
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
  • 100g cheese, grated
  • Mayonnaise or yogurt dressing
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and paprika

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Cook chicken for 3–4 minutes each side until done.
  3. Slice chicken into strips.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry pan for 30 seconds each side.
  5. Layer lettuce, chicken, tomato, cucumber, cheese, and avocado on each tortilla.
  6. Drizzle with mayo or dressing.
  7. Roll up tightly, tucking in the bottom first, then the sides.
  8. Cut in half diagonally. Serve.

Tips for Helpers

  • Warm the tortilla so it is flexible — cold tortillas crack when rolling.
  • Do not overfill or the wrap will not close.
  • Wrap in foil or baking paper for a mess-free lunch.

Ingredient Substitutions

  • Use turkey, beef, or falafel instead of chicken.
  • Any salad vegetables work.
