Simple Omelette
A versatile egg dish that works for any meal of the day. Customise fillings based on what is available.

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper
- Fillings: cheese, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, or herbs
Instructions
- Beat eggs with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour in eggs. Let set for 30 seconds.
- Gently push edges toward centre, tilting pan to let uncooked egg flow to edges.
- Add fillings to one half when top is almost set.
- Fold the other half over. Slide onto a plate.
Tips for Helpers
- Medium heat prevents browning.
- Don't overfill — less is more with omelettes.
- A non-stick pan makes this much easier.
